The Harbour View is a Waterfront and Mooring Community consisting of an 80 Slip Marina that is situated at the mouth of Snug Harbour on the shores of Sturgeon Lake.

The Snug Harbour features a stretch of shoreline known as Sunset Alley, where each day we are drawn to that moment where the sun sets over Snug Harbour. With over 1,000 ft of shoreline, 27 acres of residential and recreational space this Waterfront Community will offer a unique cottage lifestyle for boaters and waterfront lovers alike.

Who we are . . .

Harbour View Developments (HVD) is a purpose-built corporation that has been created to develop and manage the development of the related land parcels, the sale of the land parcels and the related servicing and housing that will reside on these parcels.

The principals of HVD are a local family that has established, built, sold and currently manages several businesses. Together they have collectively over 50 years of multi-residential development experience including and not limited to expertise in the full sales cycle. From Greenfield maturation (Planning, Infrastructure Installation and Servicing, etc) to personally managing the Sales (Pre-Sale to Closing), Marketing and Property Management Functions.

HVD takes a personal and hands-on approach to each sale.

 
 

An Iconic History

The Commercial Marina operation we operate today as Harbour View at The Snug Harbour (Formerly The Moorings) has been in place since the 1960’s. Initially the Marina was in support of a Seasonal RV Resort named “Wanna Sta”. This seasonal resort had 110 sites and as many docks that sprawled across the entire 1,000ft of shoreline and across the then Hydro easement which is now known as Snug Harbour Rd.

Over the years several things the property has changed in several ways including the number of out buildings, the closing of Wanna Sta in the early 1980’s, which included the removal of the trailers and the majority of shoreline single docks. Since then the Marina operations have expanded under 3 different owners spanning nearly 30 years. Today we are completing the vision for the project under the banner of Harbour View at The Snug Harbour.
